I am having an issue where the voltage at the battery and the back of the alternator is 14.1-14.6 and the voltage on the scanmaster is at 10.9 and then i have a code 41 that just popped up. also when you have the door open and you turn up the factory stereo everytime the bass hits the lights dim. i have no idea what is going on.

Over 14 is sounding like a short somewhere calling for hi alt output.
Have you had the batt tested?
Is the + cable shorted on the dp?
+ cable ends clean?
Are ALL the grounds clean and tite?
Is the main body plug at the PM clean and tite?
Have you checked/cleaned the connections at the starter?
- cable loose at the engine block?
