My car came with what the previous owner called an "Internal Boost Controller." It was on the car when he bought it so he didn't know much about it. It appears that it bypasses the WG solenoid and runs a vac line into the car to a valve with an adjustable knob on it. It definately controls boost, but it seems that it'll either stop solid at 10-12lbs or overboost like crazy. Sometimes I can get it to adjust up a bit without overboosting but in general, it seems like a crude device. Anyone have any experience with this thing? Should I just ditch it and hook the WG solenoid back up, or it this thing a decent way to control boost? Any help would be appreciated
