Hey Guys,

I've got a new set of injectors for a 5.7 IROC, will they work? and how much more will they flow?

They are 24#/Hr
86-87 GNs are 29-30.
Dunno what size the 85s use.

thats it? damn! I have an '86 motor on a stand, I'll steal those. thanks bruce

Dude! I've got about 20 stock GN injectors. Let me know if you need a set. Unknown miles, mixed up in a bag, some tips not too good, but I give you one set if you need 'em. (Sorry, da blahla slipped out there.) :D At least you won't have to take them out of the other motor. Let em know.

Aloha,

thanks tom, but the intakes coming off anyway, unless I can figger out how to use the 86-87 intake with the turbo in the orig position, what do you think?

Rob,

Are you planning on converting to an '86-'87 style setup? I have a hoist you can use if you want to drop the entire engine in instead. :)

Geoff

Geoff, thanks, i have access to the hoist, I m still doing the logistics on the feasability of the swap, also, I do not have the BRF code trans so even if i do the swap..... does the trans fall out next? or will the '85 trans suffice?

BTW you guys see the pics of the hot air with the powerstroke intercooler? tell me what you think

Thanks
Denny

I got a set (8) LT1 injectors they are from my 93' LT1 camaro, they are 22lbs. BTW- what kind of rims do you have?

Denny, yeh i still want them, can we wait till next payday? or what kind of injectors do you need? I still have the IROC injectors. Let me know theyre in the boxes... a couple are missing the o-rings though.

Denny,

The Turbo Buick injectors I have are mixed up in a bag. Nearly all of the tips are cracked. No way to tell which ones comprise a set.

However,... If you pick eight of the best looking ones and send them out to be cleaned and flowed, the rebuilder usually replaces the filter screen and can replace the tip. That way you'll have an almost good as new set just for the price of servicing them. If any fail the flow test, you can have as many more as you want.

Shoot me an E-mail at:

Aloha,

NJECTORZ

In the FWIW dept. The LT-1 inj's are 24pph and the TR's are 28pph.
As for "good, used" inj's being put in ANY engine, BE CAREFUL. If the inj's have been out of the engine for any significant time, or the engine has been sitting for a time, they can be gummed up to a point of not working. [I see this FREQUENTLY when I get used inj's to clean and flow test. NOT GOOD!!] Remember what happens when the lawn mower sits and the gas goes bad??? SAME here!!
I have a good supply of stock inj's here and can ship them in 1 day. They are cleaned ,leak tested, electrically tested, flow matched, all wear items replaced w/ top of the line parts, and painted. A flow sheet is included.

E me privately for cost.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Back to the stage 2 tuneup. Getting ready to go to the horsemeat BBQ!!

:D :D :D

Chuck- Your kind of correct, LT-1 Injectors are 24Lb's but thats for only the 94+ fbodys. The 93' fbody's use 22Lb's injectors. :) So, if anyone is purchasing used LT-1 injectors from an fbody make sure you know what year car its coming from.

Thanks for the offers,

Tom I'll give you an e-mail later about the
used injectors.

Rob, Next payday will be no problem for you to pick up the rims.

Chuck, thanks for the info on injectors, I'll e-mail you for pricing on flowed injectors.

Merry Christmas
