Anyone go to the Maiden concert. They sounded like they did in 1987. Unbelievable show. Steve harris's daughters band open for them. She is not to bad. But back to Maiden. Bruce dickinson was jumping around like a wild man just like back in the day.The whole band was just unreal. Those guys have to be real close to fifty years old and they still rock like they are 25 .Eddie lives on

First tour i seen was Number of the beast... Iron M and Rainbow with Accept
81 or 82..long time ago.

When my boy was learning guitar I taught him Ace's high along with a couple other easy tunes

he kills me now

Don't be pickin on no 50 year olds, might have to come and whip some young a$$

Anyone wear the Iron Maiden Limited Edition chuck taylors??

I sport my Sailor Jerry's Limited Editions everyday!

Iron maiden rules!

Is this the Live after death tour they were talking about?

"Live After Death" is the single best album ever released.

Maiden rules!

Going to see them on Wednesday night!!!

Let me know the setlist when you get back.

I feel sick to my stomach. I just checked their website...they played in Houston In May. I didnt know. I just went see RUSH & TOOL in April so I dont think my wife would have given me the green light anyway.:frown:

I saw them back in '87 with WASP opening, seen them once or twice since then in the last 3-5 years..whatever that last tour was that they played all their new stuff. Do they have all the stage props with the laser fighting Sphynx on each side of the stage? I think that was PowerSlave??
So far no date in Dallas :(

They started the tour with the first U.S. show here in San Antonio,TX. Overall it was good just got a little bored because Bruce kept talking to much. When they came 2/3 years before this show and they really rocked.I'm a die hard Maiden fan but it just wasn't the same.

Didnt know they were in town.

Chopped where did U see them? Im sure they played Run to the Hills and the Trooper...I hope someone has some video on You Tube soon. Man I wish I could have taken my 10 year old---he has a bad Maiden addiction after stumbling across my Limewire downloads.

my son couldnt stand em for the longest time but once he started gettin good on guitar, I plugged in, thought for a moment, warmed up and kicked it in overdrive all the tunes i used to play with my band, he learned to appreciate the difficulty in some of the riffs

out for the scramble we got to get airborne..... rollin turnin diving...goin in again
