I am a little confuse here, how do I rich the engine? Do I lower the fuel pressure or raise the pressure.
Thanks

You can raise fuel pressure to richen the car,
UNTIL
you exceed the pumps capacity, and then raising the presure LEANS the motor.
Care is needed in doing this.

perhaps I should be more specific. I just finished rebuilding the engine. So far this is what I have, 40 over with forged pistons, 218-218 cam, power plate, alky system, adj f regulator, TE-45 (a) turbo, 50 lbs injectors, 23 degree race chip. The car is running really good and I am going to the track tomorrow. My plugs are rally clean (whitish), and someone told me that perhaps the car is running lean. I don't want to ruin the engine by running lean, the fuel pressure is between 35-40 lbs. I am think I am better of running rich that lean. ( I know I should invest in a scan master)..
Any advised??????

Turn the fuel pressure up to at least 42# and I personaly would not race it until I had a scan tool and Knew exactly what was going on! Just my opinion though.

you are making a mistake racing the car without a scan tool.....at the very least, make sure you start with stock boost levels...15 lbs or less and the fuel pressure at 43

advised well taken........don't think i will be racing tomorrow. I spent tooooo much money and tooooooo many hours working on that money pit to mess it up now. thanks
