Is it possible to do rear disc brakes on the factory 8.5?

Has this been done? I'm in the process of installing the 11" blazer brakes up front and was wondering if there is a similar setup for the rear?

There are a few differnt sets on the market that wont run you a grand.

Wow I like this idea. I'm not looking to spend a whole ton of money. I need to get those backing plates. The rest is a piece of cake. Thanks guys.

if you are referring to the backing plates offered by Ed Miller I still have them and will sell them to you if you'd like... along with a set of used rear calipers.

I decided not to use them on my car after all because the shock absorbers have to be moved inboard with a bracket like the one that comes with the baer kit. I decided I wanted to keep the factory design rather than alter it. nothing wrong with relocating the shocks, it's just a preference thing for me.
