UH yea, I have it on my 86 and people think im running a V-8, if you don't want interior sound/rumbling then stick with the dual exhaust as this has some tone to it. good luck.

Best off to replace your Hooker system with a new Hooker system. The 3" single will drive you batty with it's drone. Handy for loosening up stubborn ear wax though. Had a single 3" on my GN for about 250 miles or so and took it off.
How loud is this 3" single you speak of... I mean from what you guys are saying its close to a dump. Ive been thinking bout the 3" but if it that loud maybe Ill stay away from it
It's nowhere near as loud as a dump. The single has a throaty muscle car tone, with a noticable drone at about 2,000-2,500 rpm. I just vary my rpm at highway speed to avoid most of it. Brian
The drone of the 3" single exhaust is the problem not how loud it is. My drone is worse between 1800 and 2300 rpm's which is crusing speed in overdrive on most hiways. After a while it get really annoying. My son thinks his Hooker Duals are to quite and wants something louder. Maybe it is an age thing???
