Says garrett on turbo, and p/n is 25527600, i will l0ok on my turbo when i get home from work if nobody knows . thanks

It is hard to tell. You have to measure the wheel diameters and fin count to really tell.

the 44W books says:

3.342 86-87 G (3.8-7).............25527600 1 564.00 TURBOCHARGER (REMANUFACTURED) (PG0-39,1)

so yes, I would say thats a stock turbo.

can the stock turbo be changed to a 49 or 44 and for about how much

The problem with changing a stock turbo to a TA 49 or TE44 is that Both housings and Both wheels are different. This makes it more economical to sell a good stock turbo and buy a TE44/TA49.

If a stock turbo is bad, it isn't worth anything anyway, so turning it it into another turbo would make more sense.
