The radiator in my '87 TR isn't cooling great. Car just runs hotter than it should. So, I bought a new Cold Case unit that will drop right in with very minor tweaking. The radiator that's in it might be the original and, if so, I'll have it re-cored or rodded out and either put it back in or sell it to someone that wants the bone stock look. Can anyone tell me if this looks like the original radiator? Here's the tag that's on it:

Yes, that is the original. Mine just sprung a leak yesterday and I pulled it out today. Same tag, etc. I'm now evaluating re-coring or replacement options. My car has the original upper and lower hoses on it too. I'll probably replace them, but I hate to lose the originality.

good luck re-coring....shops are not quite the same any more ....last I looked at an old school shop 30 plus yr old in Daytona wanted 600-800 for a re core ...best option with no mods to top plate with oil and trans cooling ports ...is the champion cc 683

I have an original out of my 87 bought in 87. My local shop wanted a lot to recore it so we passed on that option. I will be bringing it to BG in May if anyone wants to give me $50 for it.
