Is this common??

Just put on my PAC kit, which went great and works great. Just wondering since my first time with alky, Is it common to smell the alky after you spray it. Or might I have a leak?

Couldn't find a leak is why I was asking.

Yes it's common to smell it after you spray it.

That sweet smell of methanol coming out the tailpipe is just a nice side benefit

I found the denatured had a burnt antifreeze kind of smell.

The racing methanol almost has no odor.

I was running a buddy with a 98 LS1 and a 150 shot from a roll.. as I pulled ahead of him 1-2 cars all of a sudden he pulls off.. come to find out he thought he blew a HG becuase of the smell..

I don't know.........Maybe it just me but I thought the denatured kind of smelled like Jack Daniels.
