Is this normal

My IAC are droping down to about 04 in drive and about 14 to 20 in drive, is this normal, or is it too low?

I wouldn't say it's normal, but if the car idles fine I wouldn't worry about it. With the IAC at 4 it won't have much adjustment if it needs to close off a little....I would keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't go all the way down to zero....which it may do when the air cools down in the fall.

Actually....if you give the minimum air control screw a half turn you probably won't even have to mess with the TPS setting. Give the air control screw a twist, what have you got to loose.

I agree with OKturbo.

What chip do you have? a zero reading is nominal for a max effort chip.

18* CUstom made chip By Lou Czornota from lake forest, this is a street chip, truth is i have 4 chips, an 18*,22*25* and a Jou Loubrant race 27*@wot and 25* on third gear but never have used it, i can back up a little bit on the idle and the IAC will go back up to around 17 on drive and 24 to 28 on drive, i just wanted to know how low was to low before you start to have a problem.
