my brakes were getting bad so i changed them, had the rotors turned, regreased everything, and cleaned everything up the brakes are better the sqeeking stoped and everything but the brake light still comes on, it was coming on before this for as long as i can remeber so i am curious if its supposed to come on and what can i check if its not?

thanks,
Joshua

May have air in your system but id say if the brakes are working good it will probably need a master cylinder rebuild kit..mine broke an o-ring inside & was relatively easy to rebuild..also replace the lil round accumulator ball at same time..I did so as someone on here advised me to & all was good

You may also have a problem with the accumulator on the powermaster. Is the pedal sometimes soft and sometimes firm?

might as well pony up and get a whole new remanufactured unit. all the autoparts stores have them. they run about 400 bucks with the core charge.
