ISO 3.5" MAF Pipe

Looking for a MAF Pipe, couplers and clamps for a 3.5" LS1 MAF into a stock turbo.

I am changing over from all stock setup, I just want to make sure I don't need additional adapters. Thanks

X 102 on Earl Brown! He's very reasonable / inexpensively priced and his 3.5" pipe fits perfectly (even with larger up pipe)! I know may sound cliche, but, the angle of the dangle really does matter (difference between a 5-10 minute install or a 2.5 hours install)! Cause some manufacturers pipes just are not bent right (and that's no bull there)! And he sends you everything you need to make it happen too. And it's all quality stuff too (which is another thing you have to be very careful of too)!

Put it like this I have what is basically a brand new MAF pipe (from another popular vendor who will remain nameless), that I took off my car after only fifty miles due to fitment issues and the quality of the connectors. In that, my top adapter connector sucked down so hard that it moved the pipe. (AND IT IS NOT LIKE MY CAR WAS SET ON HIGH BOOST LEVELS AT THE TIME AS IT WAS ONLY LIKE 15 PSI). And while I had no idea this had happened, but, when the pipe moved (from the connector collapsing) it pushed the top radiator hose into the fan belt. Which then cost me my first ever power tour! As i live in the sticks and this happened at 10:30 at night on Sunday night. And u go try and find a top radiator hose for a turbo regal at anytime much less 10:30 at night on Sunday night.

I wouldn't even want to give the pipe away, that I'm telling you about. Even though it's basically brand new. Because I know the results of such! So, please do beware someone else's nightmare out there (when seeking a used MAF pipe)!

If you do buy used, be sure you price Earl brown first. As you might find yourself pleasantly surprised. Also then find out what they have on their car now and why they changed! Because I'm sure that I can't be the only one with a like new MAF pipe sitting around either. And I'm not dogging anyone's product, just relaying my life experience is all! Nightmare is more like it!!

Thanks for the input, I ordered an earl brown pipe today. Those blue couplers are icing on the cake, that has always been a cool look to me. . . On the advice of another thread I ordered a K&N RE-9020 air filter thinking it was 9" (9020. . .makes sense) but its 11" long. Hoping it will fit with the fuel vapor canister. Don't want to be doing any cutting. . ,

Is there any kind of support bracket to keep up the MAF & Filter?

What do you do about the air temperature sensor that goes into the stock elbow between the airbag and the MAF?

You should be fine. The way my pipe kit is built you can nest the couplers pretty deep. With your slightly longer filter there's a good chance you can keep the cannister in the stock location and squeeze it in there. If not, the pile can be shortened an inch or so and you'll be fine.

The coupler at the turbo can be shortened a little bit too. If you have a bolt on turbo bell, that will move the pipe assy about an inch towards the DS fender.

or just toss the cannister and have plenty of room either way.


On your temp sensor, you can either tie it off close to the filter or put a hole in the filter neck and stick it in there.
