This is my kind of luck. It's my fault for taking things for granted....

For 5 years I have owned this GN after owning a Turbo T for 5 years also. I have had problems with "dead" batteries, won't start when hot, cutting out on top end, etc.....

I recently installed a 3in DP (thanks brian) and did a repair to my DS manifold. I tried to start it with a 2 week old battery when all I got was the starter click.Boosted it off, went to see how the changes were gonna effect performance. Well the car ran like utter CRAP!!

Got back home, cut it off tried to start, no go. My dad was looking under the hood when he saw the negative battery cable SMOKING!! He started pulling on it and FOUND IT WASN"T GROUNDED TO SQUAT!!!

No wonder it hasn't been as strong as it should be!

Long story short,(sort of), grounded the cable and now this beast runs like it has never before!! Went out last night and a Talon tried to make a move and I totally embarrassed it.

Moral: Don't take things for granted when dealing with these cars when someone else has done work to it before you owned it.
