Took it out for a drive last night. Helluva better
Still have a few problems like rough idle, and no fast idle on start up??? Not so much concerned about that as I am the smoke screen that appeared at the gas station when I left it there running as I cleaned the bugs off the windshield. Drove it home and had my buddy look out the back as we went down the blvd. No smoke screen. Hmmm. Pulled in the garage and slowly started to smoke more and more so I turned it off. I pulled the uppipe and BEHOLD, OIL! Pulled the inlet side off on the turbo and it had a nice film in there also. The uppipe actually had a few drops of wetness in it. Should I ASSume the seals are bad in the turbo or could there be other causes? I have a high pressure spring in the pump, and pulled the stick and the crankcase IS overfilled by a good quart but I don't think that's the problem. I pulled plugs and they're tannish/brown, don't seem so much like oil but more fuel like it flooded out at one point. Maybe that's my rough idle prblem and slight pop out the exhaust low rpm cruise.
