It's gonna be a 4 day thrash

Let me start out by saying that I am going to college full time so I have limited time to work on my car. Bowling Green is 2 weeks away and I have a knock out paint job on my 84 GN. Problem is my passenger side head gasket is blown. I have everything torn down all the way to the block.

I now have four days (Tomorrow the 3rd, and the 11,12,13) in order to put my car together, make sure it runs, load it on the trailer, and pack luggage.

I hope someone somewhere feels my strain that I will be putting myself through this next week. Oh, by the way when I get to the car there will be pics showing my progress. Might even detail it along the way depending on how fast this bad boy throws together.

Gotta remember that I am a decent mechanic, but never really ripped into an engine by myself before so it takes longer for me than someone who knows where everything goes.

well i think its good

We're leaving for bowling green @ 5 tomorrow morning and we got the car on the trailer @ 5:30 friday. We changed the oil 4 times in about 3 hours and the car eems to be running great we didnt really get anything above an idle yet, but the motor was running "knock free" for quite a good while. We will trailer it to bowling green and be driving it back and forth to the track. I will not race it due to the freshness of the head gaskets and what not.
