Wanted to let every know that one of my bestest friends (John Bruce) is home and doing well after blowing a rear seal (leaking blood). 16 units of blood and emergency surgery seems to have repaired the offending area. Hopefully he will have recouped enough to make the Nationals next week ( with or without his fast hot air). Lets wish him well. ---Lee

Bad but good........kind of like a Buick. Wish him well.
And he can spectate/crew chief for awhile.

Ronnie

Lee,
Please extend my best wishes to John!
We are praying for a full and speedy recovery!

Sure hope he's able to make the nationals he's one of the nicest people there and here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Very glad to hear John is doing better. I/we always look forward to seeing him at the Nationals.

Mike

Hope he has a full recovery. We need more "youngsters" like him and LOT around here:).. Their knowledge is PRICELESS.....

Thanks to all of you. On 9/11/2012 @ 6am I started passing large amounts of blood. I passed out in the ER because I lost so much blood. On 9/20 they found the bleeding sight and took out 2 foot of colon. Ifinally got out of the Hospital 9/27 lost 20 lbs but I'm on the mend hoping to see everyone later this week at the Nats. No car engine was togo i n car the day I was hospitalized . I'm still weak and need to take it easy for a while. See ya! John

20lbs!!!!! Hell John you couldn't afford to lose 5, lol:). But I'm glad you're ok. Take all the time you need the Buick will be waiting for you whenever you get ready. In the mean time enjoy watching from the sidelines even though I know it will be hard.

John hope you are doing well.
Jamie & Karl I looked for you guys on Friday at the Nationals. Your trailer was there but you were not. I had to go after 3 hrs as I did not want to catch cold. I left a little before 1 o'clock. Thanks for the well wishes with out all the prayers (which I really needed) I do not know what the outcome would have been. I really put my family through Hell. I am feeling alot better and my wife is fattening me up now. Still a little weak but gaining strength and weight and getting out a little more now. Thanks so much for your kind words and concern. see ya! John

Hard block how much overbore? Keep in mind I have a good 4.1 long block thats been 11.30 with hyper pistons all it needs is acustom piston that would give you a 9 plus c/r. Anyway you take care and maybe we can get together next year. See ya! John

John,
Glad to hear you are back up and running . . . .
Hard to keep a good man down!
Hope to meet you and many others someday!
