John Craig: look here for TE44 question!

I got one of your TE44 with precision 63 housing from B&E Customs and my J bracket for the turbo shield doesn't fit. The two studs on exhaust housing plate touch the housing. How is this corrected? Eric at B&E told me all of this would fit, but its not looking to be so.

If I recall correctly, you can bend the bracket that holds the studs a bit and then tweak them back into place once you slip the studs through. Give that a try.

I think we got it figured out. I told him to just bend the little bracket. It is pretty pliable.

yup, just had to do some "encouraging" with a hammer. Everything fits good now and the turbo sounds awesome. Thanks to Eric at B&E Customs and John Craig for making my car a little faster
