John Kerry blows off duties and screws unemployed

The way I see it, the Dems get exactly what they deserve.

From Fox News (but I also saw it in the NY Times)
Democrats tried to attach the benefit to a corporate tax bill. On a 59-40 vote in the GOP-controlled Senate, they fell just shy of the 60 votes needed to overcome objections that extending the benefits violated last year's budget agreement.

Mass. Sen. John Kerry (search), the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, was the only senator who missed the vote. Kerry was campaigning Tuesday in Kentucky.


There's your "man of the people" looking out for the poor saps who are floundering in the most awful economy since the beginning of time! Yes, the ONLY senator who didn't vote, and the one vote that would have carried the bill. What a schlub!

Regardless of who you will vote for in the election this is
interesting.

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of
January..... in the fair city of Detroit (Michigan) there were 35
murders in the month of January. That's one American city folks,
about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq!

Worst president in history?

Liberals claim President Bush should not have started this war.
They complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently
claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history. Let's clear
up one point: We did not start the war on terror. It was started
by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.

Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.

Lincoln allowed the US to fall into civil war. How would you
like a Civil war today where people go out and kill out of state
relatives?

FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan
did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, averaging 112,500
per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea
never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an
average of 18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam
never attacked us.

Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000
lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden three
times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple
occasions.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has

• liberated two countries,
• crushed the Taliban,
• crippled al-Qaida,
• put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without
firing a shot,
• and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own
people with weapons of mass destruction.

We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year. Bush did all this
abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.

Worst president in history? Come on!

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking,
but...
• It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take
the Branch Davidian compound, a 51 day operation.
• We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for
less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm
billing records.
• It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines
to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy
to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquid****.
• It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes
in Florida!!!!

Worst president in history? History reveals a different story.

What can they say? They nominated a waffling idiot.

Even they have to realize that by now.

The guy only voted 36% of the time in 2003.

Their ONLY hope now is put Hillary on the Ticket as a stepping stone for 2008. 'Cause it's like Kerry is TRYING TO LOSE this one.
 
He's another Gore, had the presidency within his grasp, but blew it due to lack of personality/poor campaigning..He's almost as boring as bushbaby!
