Is any body using juice on a hotair? If so what kit is it, dry or wet? 75/100 or 150 shot? Do you like it? How fast are you going with and without juice? Thanks.

if i ever get past my current task i intend to put a little juice on mine. I'm actually tapped into my throttle body now just waiting on time to permit me to install a dry 50 shot of juice. The cold air should be real nice in that hot air!

Come on no reply, I know for sure that there is atleast one hotair on juice. I'm just doing the math, that for the price of an alky kit I can juice it for less.

I have used a 50hp wet on a stock HA. Make sure you raise your fuel pressure up. A 50hp is actually 70-80hp on HA. Before you start using NOS, make sure everything is working properly. Set boost around 12-13lbs. Used a KenneBell NOS chip with NOS and knocked off a 1.2 sec. (14.94 to a 13.70) in a other wise stock HA. The NOS will raise the boost to about 17-18. Every car is different, so fuel base line should 42-44 with line off. NOS is fun, but DO not get greedy. I usually would hit it 20 ft off the line or a little pass the tree. With things now, I would get Eric to burn a NOS with timing retard. I plan to use NOS down the line again with E85. You probably can now safely push 150-175 hp NOS with proper equipment: E85, E85 Pump, TurboTweak Chip and injectors.

where did you plumb it to??? I currently have my line tapped to the throttle body just before the throttle blade, but i was intending to run it dry. Do you happen to have any pix of your setup?

I want to spray 100 shot wet.Doesn't the fuel silenoid increase the fuel pressure at WOT when you spray?

Most folks tap the adapter between turbo and intake, just like using installing alky. I am not sure of the benefits of tapping TB since HA is not on pressurized like intercooled.

I can understand you wanting to spray 100hp...... but be advised and warned, NOS is MORE effective on HA and for that matter carb's also benefit. I used a 86 NOS set up. I took the fogger nozzle out of the 86 up pipe and mounted it in the turbo adapter. I did run the fuel to the fuel solonoid. Not every HA is the same. I would suggest you start small 50hp and work your way up. Wet NOS would be the most forgiving.... I would get a chip from Turbo Tweak and bigger fuel pump. a 100hp shot may be worth almost 150hp:eek:. You must be able to compensate for extra 150hp... Believe me 50hp is a KICK in the pants. I eventually sprayed 125 shot. I changed to 40lb injectors, ran 2 Red's XP pumps. I cannot remember everything, but I got 7.50's in 1/8 mile.

Definitely smart to start small and work your way up,so i dont have to carry my pistons in a box with oily goo.

my buddy did this in his old 85GN and it ran crazy I think it was a 150 shot with some race gas and he use to just kill other cars. it had a couple of bolt ons but used the stock fuel rail and a big pump. been years sence hes had the car. put the nitrous on it to kill his dads 87GN then his dad got some heads, cam bigger turbo(ta60) and that was that. sold it for a 86 t type then went and got married. looking to get another one soon. He never had a problem but we did the old start small and go from there
