junkyard computer???

I swapped out computers because I thought mine was messed up and I never changed the calpak chip in the one from the junkyard... I did switch out the main chip tho... the car sat for years and now I finally have it running again but it is not running right... chasing down allot of issues right now but my question is will the car run bad with the calpak from a different car in it?? I read that the calpak is a backup in case the main chip goes down... just wondering if having the wrong calpak is causing more problems...

Put the right calpac in it first. If it's for an NA car it will have different values.
