my vin is almost identical (check digit and last digit) that one is 47 mine is 48, not sure if anyone else finds it interesting but i do

ok waste of a good thread, but i think this is the first time that 2 TR's have been known to have 2 consecutive VIN's alot have been close but never this close.

I also played around with Vin #'s on carfax
the car before mine couldnt get anything on the one after (183)

If I recall correctly, The last 6 determine what order of production are. The first set of numbers is year, plant, power train, model, equipment, and line produced on. I may be wrong, but that is as I recall it. If I only had saved my VIN cheater cards from back then. Mark
