just got my first GN. HELP!

Just picked up my first grand national today. The previous owner used it as his daily driver and one night got a DUI. So he parked it. That was 5 years ago, you guys have any tips on things I should do or check before starting it for the first time in 5yrs??

Well this is not GN specific but has it been started in 5 years? If not how did it get to you? How does it run? It is my rule of thumb to do the standard maintenance when purchasing a used car... might be overkill or a waste but at least I know.

Other than that what are you asking for help with?

drop oil drop tranny pan drop coolant drop diff oil replace with new check the old fluids check the oil for major metal deposite, smell tranny oil and inspect it , inspect the coolant replace all fluids and normale parts ei new plugs new plug wires new vacumme lines list what mods are done to the car do you have a scan master if not it should be order asap
