Just moved to the QC area (Davenport, Iowa), is there a Buick presence here?

Just moved here a couple of months ago and I must say that if you are not into Casino's or drinking, there isn't much to do. I have seen quite a few weekend car shows, but nobody seems to hang out on the weekend nights with hot rods like we did back in Indiana.

Furthermore, I have only seen 1 or 2 TR's in the entire QC area since I have been here. Please tell me there are more around. Where does everybody hang out on Friday and Saturday night?

Hey! I forgot to get back to you after my vacation! I'll get with you one of these weekends.

Well, I've lived in this area since I was 4... yep, 34 years now! It isn't the most bustling area, I'll give you that, but there are a few things to do.

Not a lot of TRs around here, no. I know of 6-7 or so, and there are a few that I don't "know" and I'm sure there are a few more around that I have never seen. But, for a metropolitan area of about 350-400,000 you'd think there would be more! Oh well. Heck, I'm even down to only one! Last year at this time, I still had three!

QC area (Coal valley)

I got my tail out of there as soon as I could......No, not much to do but make what you can of it.

Two TTA's in the QC... an original owner and me but obviously im not there anymore:p

Now there are more TTA's here than you can shake a stick at!!! (at least 5)

QC still has a place in my heart though:)

Send my love to Paula Sands

Bo:cool:

I moved here from farther downstate.

I think there is a nice amount of things to do here.

Nice dragstrip 30 miles away, PGA tournament here, very good civic center, speed shops, lots of street rods, civic events, concerts, politics, LOTS of shopping (ask my wife), plenty of gambling, the magnificent Missippi river. Close to Chicago, DesMoines, St. Louis...

I like it here.

I've got my GN and the Geo Metro conversion I've been working on.

Go out to Cordova Friday night (I'll be in the GN with the gray truck and trailer). Midnight madness starts at midnight goes till 4. I'm racing a dart for $500 if it comes through.
