Just picked up a SR1911

I bought one a few months ago and they are sexy. The trigger has a rediculous amount of creep...even more than my tuarus pt1911. But other than that they are nice guns. Im a big fan of ruger quality and customer service is incredible. IMO its the best 1911 you can buy for $700.

I agree. Ruger did an awesome job. I like how the pieces in the slide Are all kept together from the same casting

I don't know how you can say this gun has trigger creep. I sell guns all day long at Gander Mtn and this gun has the sweetest trigger of any 45 1911 in the store. All of them I have handled break without ever moving. Super gun.

Comparing it next to my pt1911 the ruger has about 1/8" more creep. may just be my particular SR and not an across the board issue.
