I recently installed a CVA-1005 (motorized flip up screen radio) And it annoyed me that it would cover the climate controls and cig lighter when open...it also seemed to low.
SO-
I figured, why not switch them around.
did it today, only took a couple of hours and a little creativity. Radio is now on top, climate controls on bottom...I even still use the stock metal mounting plate and stock cover plate (bezel) although it's upside down (gotta call BFH to see if he can make me a new insert prited upside down)...
Thought some one might like to know in case they've been thinking about doing it.
