Hi Guys,

 Is there an UltraBell made for or that can be made to fit the 200-4R, say the BOP TH400 unit?

Thanks for your responses....;)

Why would you want to replace the factory bellhousing w/ one having the same pattern? If it's a safety issue, get an SFI approved flexplate shield.

IMO, putting an aftermarket bellhousing on transmissions not designed for a removeable bellhousing (i.e. Ford C4, GM 4L60E) can induce centerline alignment errors. Also, the fasteners used to hold the aftermarket bellhousing to the transmission case were only intended to hold the front pump in place, not support the entire transmission.

I AGREE!!! 100%.......

The only time, and even then it is a guess unless you dowel the pump and case and realign everything, which at that point you could have anything made, in an application where no other set up is available. I Have dealt with JW Performance for years and they have some nice stuff. I am a dealer till this day and love alot of other products. However, the Ultra Bell is nothing but a Pump wiping pain in the arse. You cannot come within .002 at the crank any other way. Bolts will not ever come even close to holding the tolerence. I have NEVER seen an Ultra Bell trans anything that DID NOT wipe the crescent of the pump and hurt converter. EVER.
Nothing indexs the bell to the trans. Remember, I said ....."indexs"

Thank you both, Greg and Bruce, for setting me straight on this one.;)

Greg.....where can I get one of these SFI flexplate shields and will one fit under a stock floorpan without any (or hardly any) mods?

Thanks again guys.....:)

Hmmm. No floorpan mods. While I can't guarantee that ours will fit right in, I know it'll be close. If you're talking about putting this on a 200-4R, our 940075 will fit the multi-pattern bellhousing.

There are those form-fit carbon fiber shields offered by others but I don't know that any are made for the GM multi-pattern bellhousing.
