Kilduff lightning rod kit?

Does anyone have any experience with these and their compatibility with our cars?

I've seen the Hurst ones used, but never aftermarket.

There are a few guys on the gbody forum using the Kildiff rods, in Montes and malibus, and seem to love them. They are bulkier than the hurst rods though since the mechanism allows you to pull the sticks to shift instead of pushing them, so fitting in a stock console may not be easily done or even possible.
