knock gauge freak out...

When I am driven around my knock gauge will freak out go really high in the red, but my scanmaster does not move. Is there something wrong with the gauge?

My knock gauge does the same thing. The problem with that gauge is that it picks up just about any vibration and thats what it ends up reading. I heard of somebody having a shock loose and it bouncing around a little, he tightend it up and the gauge didnt read any knock after that. I stopped paying attention to the gauge after I installed the scanmaster, just didnt get around to taking the gauge out.
