knock, knock. whos there? knock!!!

On the street from a stop I get no knock in drive with 15 pounds of boost. On the highway in overdrive going from 75MPH I get all kinds of knock, and the knock starts around 10psi so I let off. Doing the samething 75MPH in drive gets me very little to no knock at all going all the way up to 15psi but I can hear the trans working really hard.
I'm thinking I'm running a little lean but since my fuel preassure gauge is busted I don't no for sure.
I'd buy a new one but the car is away for winter so I think I'll wait until spring. What else could cause the knock.
Also is it normal to beable to hear the trans running so hard at a high speed like that.

go WOT immediately, dont do that "roll on the throttle slowly" bull****.

my car does this too.

WOT, fine, maybe a little knock at high speeds.

roll on the throttle and it looks like my knock gauge is a TPS gauge instead.

we could both be lean but im running a ****load of fp so i "shouldnt" be.. who knows maybe i need new injectors.
