One Frame?, what kind of scanner?. If your using an ALDL scanner, one frame is about one sec., depending on your setting with DS, it could be considerably less.
If the Knock instantly recovers after a gear change, and is only a couple degrees, it's probably not hurting your engine.
Might just be a sign of needing a looser converter.
Sorry, I am using Turbo Meter and here is what a data log looks like. I was comparing it to a Casper’s audible knock gauge. The gauge didn’t even make a chirp?

Turbo Meter?.
Never heard of that one. But, by the looks of it (all of 3 frames ) it looks like it's probably one that plugs into the ALDL connector. In that case, your at almost 7, and the max most chips can go to is 12. So with any thing going wrong, you could overwhelm the K/S system, and really detonate the motor.
I'd triple check all the usual suspects for it being false, and try another chip.
I know, I wish I had more to look at but I will get more frames when it gets nice out and can drive the car. I had the alarm on the software set to start data logging when knock is higher than 0 so I didn’t get the whole run or much that happened before that. In the frame after that I had let off the gas so that wouldn’t help much. I just can't seem to understand why the gauge doesn’t sense that. That is with the factory chip, I think I am going to try a turbo tweak chip.
