Knock sensor wire...want to run new one..help!

Well during my tranny install the wire for the knock sensor got all messed up. Can i just run a whole new wire from the ECM? If so what pin is it? Where shouldi run the new wire from? Please help!!

If you piched it in one spot, you could solder it, then put some heat shrink on it. Depends on how mangled it is... (I had to on mine, did the same thing)

The single wire on the knock sensor does not go to the ecm; it goes to the electronic spark module (ESM) located on the ps fender. The esm communicates with the ECM. The knock sensor is the flat one. Look at the wire color at the sensor and on the ESM. Follow the link below to #16.
