Engine has a light knock in the front area ( front cover ) after the oil is warm. I can feel it on the cam sensor and oil pump area. Makes me think it is cam related. The knock will go away after 2000 RPM or so. Oil pressure is great.

I have checked all of the usual culprits.

I was wondering if the cam was walking, would it cause this noise?

Check the flexplate. Mine was cracked and I swore it was the front of the motor. Thank goodness is was only the flexplate.
Good luck !!

Ralph,

Yours sounds like a worn cam sensor. Usually will knock louder when cold. Did you change it or shim the cam sensor?

Another guy had also told me a while back that it could a lifter going bad. I haven't seen any signs of that or anything in the oil.
