largest Drag Radial for GNX wheels??

I need to know what the largest drag radial you guys have used on the GNX wheels. I would like to use BFG's.

Well ----GNX rims are 16"-correct.Last time i checked-they only had 255/50/16 in the BFG's.I have a set on my car.Have gone 1.73 60' so far.

BFG and Nitto only make 1 size of DRs for 16s in RWD cars.
BFGs are 255/50s and Nittos are 245/50s.

From what I can tell, they make most DRs 15s for RWD rims, and then 16s and 17s for FWD applications (smaller sizes)
There just isnt much demand I guess.
Silver is wearing the Nitto shoes at the moment, but I had BFGs a year or two back.

A better question would be, biggest DR that fits a GNX wheel that won't rub the frame!

I highly doubt you will get 245 or a 255 section width tire to rub on the frame unless your backspacing is really messed up.

255 section width is stock rear tire size on the GNXs.

That's true but the GNX wheels have a little less than 1" less backspacing the the GTA's. 255's on GTA's can rub the frame if you take corners fast.
