Late shifts at part throttle?

This just started yesterday, it's not wanting to shift at part throttle until it hits far too high RPMs. Coming home just now 1-2 wouldn't shift till 3000 or more RPM and of course when it does it shifts HARD, 2-3 also around 3000 or more, very hard, and I haven't noticed it shift into OD at all, I slowly took it to 70 or 75 and it never shifted into 4th.

I'm not feeling any slipping and the shifts are very strong. Where should I start on figuring this one out? Thanks for any help

try adjusting the TV cable & see if that helps

Apparently it was a sticking TV, called my cousin (by marriage) who works at his dad's transmission shop and he said the 200 and 700r4's are notorious for sticking and said just pump the gas pedal WOT with the car off a dozen or so times and give it a test, sure enough, that fixed it!

Guess I should change the filter and fluid for good measure? Should I do any other maintenance while I'm getting dirty and have the car up on the ramps? Already got new oil and filter waiting.

Good 2 know, I'm having the same problem after a rebuild, and new TV cable, going to try it !
