LC-1 Error Code 1

It may be time for a new wideband but I thought I'd throw this out. I've got an innovate LC-1 (it was cheap) that's been good for 3 years. While the engine was out I did some rewireing it's coming up with an error code 1 (Heater circuit shorted). Sensor has been replaced.

Anyone seen this and have a resolution.

Do you have the blue and white wire twisted together and grounded to a good motor ground?

Yes. I do need to check it again, maybe I've got a broken wire. It operated fine for 3 years.
