Leaded gas/emissions with cat

How do you guys that run leaded race gas and have to pass emissions with a cat get all the leaded stuff out of the tank...don't want to have to run too many gallons of unleaded through to clean it out...is there a way to pump all the gas out...maybe siphon it out via the fill tube?

You should be able to pump most of it out through the fuel rail. There may still be 2 gallons left so fill up will 5 gals of UL a couple of times and you should be fine. I was.

Many don't put the cat back on till we have to do the emmission testing. Stop using leaded fuel about a month before or 3-4 tank full before re-installing cat.

i dont know your combo but if you have 50s or larger you may have a hard time with the AZ standards. i know Jack could not pass with his 50s and his car is in great tune. if you would like you can borrow my blue tops and smog chip. and we'll get ya through on the 1st try.
