leaking (oil)cometics

I was thinking of taking them off and spray a silicon or high temp copper on all the stainless shims. Did anyone ever do this and what where the results PS they are leaking oil not coolant...

disco stu. took his "cometics" apart and sprayed em, and says he has never leaked.

NO OIL GOES THRU THE HEAD GASKETS! TRUST ME, it's most likely an intake to head problem. I had that kind of problem in the past, looked like the head gasket but "not".
