Climbed under the car today and saw that the TCC connection going into the trans was leaking. I unplugged the connection and it wet with trans fluid. Will this short out the TCC? or is it ok
Thanks
Jim

It will not short,... however....

I dont like any leaks.

Drain trans
you can try the easy and cheap way, pull on connecetor. It will have the connector inside still attached.
Install new oring and connector. reassemble by pushing in.
You really should pull pan but 5 out of 10 get lucky and can do it externally.
Good luck and we hate leaks LOL

Thanks Bruce,
With the inside of the connection being wet with fluid cause a short in the TCC?
Oh and is it normal for a 1983 nonBFR trans to have only 3 wires?
I'll try the cheap way (Non ATF bath) first. I know I should have installed that drain plug last year :(

Nope, those cinnections live in ATF anyway.

Most 200-4Rs had only 3 wires.
