I have two different brand of chips that cause the car to stumble and lean out when starting out from a dead stop. The O2 readings are between .36 to .60 at idle (15-21 O2 counts) in Park and drops to .11-.15 (80 O2 counts) when shifted to Drive. I then installed an ATR Pit Bull chip that I had and it cleared up the leaning problem in Park and Drive. The readings are .27-.78. The car has a hotwired Walbro 307 fuel pump with stock injectors.

Question: Is the ATR chip masking any hidden problems with the car that the other two chips are sensitive to?

I seem to remember people saying the Pitbulls generally have a rich idle and it seems you're confirming that with the fatter 02 mv's you're seeing along with the smoother idle.
Is the PB matched to your octane level? What's your fuel pressure set at? The PB needs @ 42-43 psi line-off pressure at idle. If these are set, I'd say you're good to go.

Lean O2

TopJimmy,

The fuel pressure is set to 43PSI and I am running 92 octane. Just wanted to inquire why the other chips did not run as good as the Pit Bull chip. I'll run the chip for awhile and see how the car performs.
