Quite pricey, but pretty cool looking, brighter, draw less current, and last forever.
Check out the customer testimony where the guy says it is "literally painful to look at directly" They would probably restore full brightness to blacked-out taillights in a TR. Not to mention reduce your chances of getting rear-ended, because they are faster and brighter.
My guess is that TR's use thermal flashers, so we'd also need the solid state upgrade...
