just to help you out there whitettype because i have this cd player.

1. Boostingirl - it doesn't have a direct ipod hookup but it has an auxillary rca imput. Just get an rca to headphone jack wire (like $9 @ radioshack) plug it in the back of the cd player and theres your ipod jack.

2. 87gn - as far as plug and play you'll need a wiring adapter ($10 @ walmart) and mounting kit ($20 @ walmart) and it's all pretty simple.
