Aug 22, 2002 #2 M MARINES185 New Member Joined Aug 17, 2002 Messages 120 there should be nothing there at idle as the egr circuit only works while cruising. at that time the computer sends a signal to allow vacuum to flow to the egr solenoid which opens it to allow exhaust gas into the manifold.
