Line Lock Switch orientation

Should the switch complete the ground or complete the power circuit? Just curious as to what is better. Oh, I also want to wire in an indicator light for when it's engaged. Thanks!

It should complete the power circuit imo. Fuse this wire and run one end of your red light to the same wire [ie; scotch-lok] and the other to gnd.

I'm pretty sure the instructions for mine said to switch the power. I ground mine under the hood and tap into the fuse box inside the car for the switch.
