My application is primarily for track use. Does liquid/air intercooler work good on limited street use? Is there any advantage to either one during track use? Any comments greatly appreciated.

Liquid works great...........as long as the liquid going through the IC is cool. Once it warms up.....its just like a bad A to A

I suggest doing an archives search, you will see a lot of opinions and facts.
For limited street it's fine, especially if you have a system where the liquid is additionally cooled by a heat-exchanger with an electric fan and optionally an ice-cooler for the liquid.
