Driving my GN today after doing a few tweaks.
Ran great, then...............................KNOCK,KNOCK,KNOCK!!!!!!!!
Silence,............it went dead.
I pull off the side of the road and instinctively look underneath and sure enough oil is pouring out everywhere!
As I sat there for 45 minutes waiting on the tow truck I thought to myself, why get mad? It's over, it happened, now get over it.
The funny thing about it is that when it went dead the check engine light came on!LOL:D
Pretty funny huh?!
Well, anyone know of a good machine shop?;)
My old lady is gonna freaking kill me!:p ;) :D

Sorry to hear about your troubles there Tony, sounds like a rod might have let go assuming oil is leaking from hole(s) punched through the pan. If so, I would start looking for a new motor - just my opinion. Wasn't your motor supposedly just rebuilt or something by the previous owner?

I have a few engine things I would be willing to sell if you need.
Lmk

I'm pretty sure all I need is a short block, I can still use the heads and what not, I hope!

The .30 over block is gone, but I have a stock block in my shed........ somewhere:rolleyes:

How about the rods and crank?
If so I think we may have to deal!

Check the block first... you may need more than you think...

It's a complete short block.

Hey Koa, are you collecting those blocks?:)

Hey, send me a pm with your name and # if you want to deal!

Tony, Check the sticky at the top of the page... (you know, the one where you put your number in as well?)
