It will even take ya into the 9s. Street cars that are DRIVEN I'd only go with a stock location.. Front mounts ...well there are a gazillion threads about them vs stock location intercoolers.

Intercooler, blah, you don't need that heat reducing box thingy.

First off, the PTE SLIC is better than the stock IC, so it's going to help.

A couple ways to look at an Intercooler OP, the amount of pressure drop it eats away at your compressor map, the amount of piping volume and the heat transfer aspect. If you run Alky than the heat transfer aspect isn't as vital and the pressure drop is more important along with the total amount of piping volume.

The PTE SLIC with alky can easily achieve 10's with a combo that's executed properly to run 10's, so it's not the only part of the puzzle. It also has run 14's so that tells you something about this one part.

Will you be using alky E-85 or just race fuel?
