Log in problems..

When I quit surfing last nite, all systems were working.. All sites I frequent had my user and p/w on record, allowing me to just load the site.
This Am, all passwords/user names are blank. I fill them in, and am allowed to enter... NP.
Problem is, even after checking the "remember me" box, I have to retype the user/pw info, everytime I leave and return. I am having this trouble on all sites, including my bank.
I have loaded Firefox.. still the same problem.
I have Windows updates done automatically, at nite. So the pc is left on.
I've done crap cleaner, registry cleanup, cookies gone, temp files cleaned out,etc...What Would/could cause the problem?
NE1 have an idea as to where to look??????

Create a new user for your computer. Login as that user and try the sites again. Does it do the same with IE? Many things could be going wrong, isolating the profile is a place to start.
