Hello everyone this is my first post here. I am not new to Turbo Buicks as I had a 87 GN and TTA back in the early 90's. I just purchased a 87 GN that was built and raced with us back in the day. This car was a one owner with several mods (Some I am not fimiliar with) and I am needing some help by you guys. The car is NOT currently running as I bought it witha blown head gasket. Here is a list of mods that I know.

.040 over Ross pistons
Stock crank rods
Billet main caps/studs
Mildly ported stock heads (valve size unknown)
TA49 turbo
Ruggles 210 camshaft
UD pulley
Eastern front mount intercooler
KB cold air kit
LS1 maf with translater
36 lb FMS injectors
adj. fuel pressure reg
bigger TB (forget what size he told me)
Aftermarket downpipe (forget brand, internal WG)
extra injector with box on TB
factrory headers (cracked DR side)
Built 2004R with deep pan
Orange stripe converter (GN club is what the owner told me)
G80 air bags bilsteins
ATR full stainless exhaust
SMC meth kit ( I know NOTHING about)
Armstrong XP pump
Several chips

Here is where I am looking for info. The drivers side back cylinder has coolant in it. Should I pull both heads and replace both gaskets or just the drivers side? It does NOT have head studs but should I install them? I would like you guys thoughts on upgrading at this time. I will upgrade the turbo,injectors,heads,etc... since the top end will be apart anyway. I want a solid combo that will run high 10's ( Forget drivetrain mods I can handle that including the trans,converter,rear,etc...) on drag radials. I will have many more questions later on in this thread.

Solid high 10's on radials means your building a possible mid-low 10 second machine.

Champion Irons, 212/212 roller cam, minimum 66MM turbo, 3400-3600 stall, HD headgaskets like Cometics, studs, etc...

And tune tune tune.

While there has/have been cars that ran 10's on a 49.. its by no stretch solid and not on radials.

Dump the KB ram air & extra injector setup. Get some sticky tires like MT DR 275-60 & a bigger turbo with 60 injectors to start. Then Tune away!
