We have a big track event here this coming weekend. As my car has no posi, I really wanted to get a set of airbags so I could warm up the ET Streets and leave with at least some boost. I have called all the big retailers I can think of and there are no air bags that go inside the coils to be found. I then called Jegs and they said about a week since crossing the border takes time. :( Does anyone in Canada have a set laying around or know of a race shop in Ontario or elsewhere that may be able to help? I can get something shipped from anywhere in Canada fine. But delivery from a U.S. vendor just is not going to fit my timeframe. Thanks for any help.

Lordco Auto Parts, Langley, B.C.; Mike Virag; 604-533-2444
Mopac Auto Supply, Calgary+Surrey, B.C.; Eric; 604-596-6722

I bought mine from Lordco for about $100 CDN Pesos a pair, work perfect.
PS: Phone George Thomson and see if he has any around, or sources...membership has it's priveledges.

Called Mopac already. No luck...they said about 10 days. I'll try Lordco first thing Monday morning. Thanks Jim.

P.S. Buickboy do you think your mother-in-law would fit in the trunk with the lid closed? Otherwise tech may no go for it. Oh and ask her if she would mind scrunching herself into the spare tire space. Oh one last thing. Can she drive across the continent in five days? Thanks.

mother in law

Canadian Tire just
order them for a1987 MCSS
If you still have the crossflow muffler make sure the tail pipe is not too close to the bag as the heat will split them.

Thanks guys. I'll go check at CT when it opens at lunch. Funny all the time I spend in there and I never even tried their parts counter. Of course, when I brought in the 2.5" to 3" reducer hose and asked if they had one that was 2" to 2.5" the kid looked at me like I was from another planet. Must have thrown me off temporarily. But I do know special ordering from them is not terribly fast either. We'll see. Thanks again.

I got the air bags in today from Canadian Tire. :D Since it was special order I decided to cross reference them with the company's online catalog. Strangely enough it lists the 60744 for the Monte Carlo SS, but the 60733 for the Regal, non-SS Monte Carlo, and Grand Prix. Hope they work, cause I don't have time to switch them. I'll post my results.
